Price and investment

What does a hyperbaric chamber cost?

The honest answer: it depends on the system, the configuration and how you want to pay. Here is what determines the price, so you know what to ask for in a quotation.

Price factors

Six things that determine the price

Two chambers that look alike can differ considerably in price. These are the factors that make the difference.

Soft or hard chamber

A soft chamber at 1.4 or 1.5 ATA is the accessible entry. A steel hard chamber up to 2.0 ATA is built for intensive daily use and costs considerably more.

Pressure and construction

Higher working pressure requires a stronger construction, larger windows and more safety features. That is reflected in the price.

Capacity

One or two people per session, or many users in a row with IHHT. More capacity per time slot means a different system.

Configuration and finish

BIBS, air conditioning, a massage or zero-gravity seat, colour and upholstery. Customisation adds comfort and character.

Peripherals and installation

Concentrator, booster, cooling, delivery, installation and the route in. For hard chambers this is a substantial part of the project.

Service and warranty

Training, spare parts in stock, service and a warranty of up to three years. Cheap equipment without support often costs more later.

Ways to pay

Buy, rent or lease

The equipment determines the technology; the financing determines how much capital you commit at the start.

Buy

The lowest total cost over the lifetime and full ownership. Suits a proven concept or a long-term home programme.

Rent

Fixed monthly costs without an investment, from three months. Rent you have paid counts towards the purchase price within twelve months.

Lease

Payments spread over a longer term with the option to buy at the end. Keeps working capital free for fit-out and marketing.

Questions

Frequently asked about price

Why do you not show prices on the website?

Every project is different: system, configuration, installation and the way you pay all affect the price. A tailored quotation is more accurate and includes everything you need, without surprises afterwards.

Is renting more expensive than buying?

Over the full lifetime buying is usually the cheapest. Renting lets you start without an investment and test the concept first; if you switch to buying within twelve months, we count part of the rent already paid towards the purchase price.

What is the most affordable way to start?

Renting a soft chamber, starting from three months, is the most accessible way in. A compact IHHT system or a hydrogen generator are also accessible starting points.

Are there ongoing costs?

Mainly energy and consumables such as masks, filters and straps. With rental and lease, maintenance, warranty handling and technical support are included.
