Privacy policy

Which personal data OxyBoost B.V. processes, why, for how long, and your rights under the GDPR.

This is a translation for your convenience. The Dutch version is legally binding.

1. Who we are

OxyBoost B.V., Columbusweg 16, 4462 HB Goes, Chamber of Commerce 99041707, is the controller for the personal data described in this statement. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@oxyboost.nl or asked via +31 6 27 20 27 68.

We only process the personal data we need, for clear purposes, and we do not keep it longer than necessary.

2. What data, why and for how long

2.1 Contact form, email, phone and WhatsApp

When you contact us, we process the data you provide: name, email address, phone number, organisation, your message, the page from which you sent the form and the site language. We use this data to answer your question, prepare a quotation or plan a showroom visit.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. Retention: up to two (2) years after the last contact, unless an agreement follows.

2.2 Customers and agreements

For quotations, delivery, installation, rental, lease, service and warranty we process name, address, contact and company details, the location of the Equipment, serial numbers and photos of its condition on delivery.

Legal basis: performance of the agreement and our legitimate interest (evidence of the condition of rented Equipment). Retention: the term of the agreement plus five (5) years.

2.3 Invoices and accounting

We keep invoice and payment data for seven (7) years, as required by the statutory tax retention obligation. Legal basis: legal obligation.

2.4 Newsletter and updates

If you sign up or are a customer, we may occasionally inform you about new systems and knowledge. Legal basis: your consent, or our legitimate interest for existing customers. You can unsubscribe at any time; we keep your data for this purpose until you do.

2.5 Website visits

The website uses cookieless, privacy-friendly statistics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) to measure page views and speed. No cookies are placed and visitors are not personally identified. Our hosting provider processes technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver the website securely and prevent misuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest. See our cookie policy for more.

3. No health data

We do not ask about your health and we do not record health data. Please do not share medical information in the contact form, by email or via WhatsApp. If you do, we use it only to answer your question and delete it afterwards. We prefer to discuss your personal situation in the showroom or by phone.

4. Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We share it only with parties that need it for their task, and we conclude a data processing agreement with processors:

  • Vercel Inc. (hosting and website statistics);
  • Resend (delivering contact form messages to our mailbox);
  • Versio B.V. (our email, stored in the EU);
  • our accountant;
  • carriers and installation partners, where needed for delivery;
  • the manufacturer, where needed to resolve a technical question or warranty matter.

If you click on WhatsApp, Instagram or LinkedIn, you go to that service, and the privacy policy of Meta or LinkedIn applies to what that service does with your data. Messages you send us via WhatsApp are handled as described in article 2.1.

5. Transfers outside the EEA

Vercel and Resend are based in the United States. Personal data is transferred there only on the basis of a valid transfer mechanism, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We do not transfer data to parties outside the EEA for their own purposes.

6. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures against loss and unauthorised access, including an encrypted connection (https) and restricted access to our mailbox and accounts. No security is completely watertight. We review our measures regularly and report data breaches as the law requires.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Send your request to info@oxyboost.nl. We respond within one (1) month and may ask you to verify your identity. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority in your country. We would of course like to hear from you first.

8. Children

Our website and services are not aimed at children under sixteen (16). They need the consent of a parent or guardian.

9. Changes

We may update this privacy statement, for example when we start using a new service. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. This statement was drawn up in Dutch; in case of differences with a translation, the Dutch text prevails.
